Stopped in to have lunch and boy was this a good decision! Food was delicious, friendly staff with great atmosphere. Plenty of parking and roomy dinning room. We did not taste the homemade ice cream; however, it looked so good!
Heading out to see Twin Falls, we Googled places to eat with sandwiches, really just looking for a good sandwich for lunch. Results came up with Chestnut Oaks, looked at their menu, decided YES. I'm sure EVERYTHING they serve is phenomenal, but, I can speak for the Pimento Porker (pimento cheese melted over pulled pork with in house BBQ sauce...OMG...), 2 sides (the BEST home fries, cucumber onion tomato salad in vinaigrette), and a drink. Let me tell you, this is some of the best food I've tried. Bestie got the cheeseburger (Chestnut Oaks farm to table meat), and it was phenomenal! We're already packing our next outing that direction, so we can go there again! Cute, country farmhouse setting, amazing food, and worth the stop!
Stopped at this spot on our way through during a trip. All the food was very fresh and the Smoked Chicken melt was amazing! The bread was so fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful. Seemed to be a great local place. They also had meats, cheeses, dairy, and other items available to buy in their store.
We enjoyed our visit here so much! Cozy, friendly, and the food was yummy! My kids and I played games, checked out upstairs, and my kids got grilled cheese and cookies, and we got the pimento porky, and brisket, ended with ice cream and milkshakes! It all felt homey!
The food was great and the staff were very friendly. We got there late with a largish group and they served us with a smile. My kids got the pork and pimento sandwiches. The bun didn't stand a chance with that much goodness on it. The picture is their regular pulled pork BBQ.
Really cool place! I had been wanting to check it out for a while and finally was able to stop by. The atmosphere is awesome, the food was great, the prices are right, and everyone is very nice. Fried green tomatoes were excellent. Lots of little table games to play with the kids. Definitely want to go back.
First time eating here, cheese burger and BBQ Sandwhich were excellent, crinkle fries ok, not seasoned enough for us and some were undercooked (we prefer string fries or seasoned fries). Great atmosphere (fireplace) and prices. Also have a gift shop and ice cream shop. We look forward to going again with friends!
Decided to finally try this place and I am so glad we did. This is a hidden gem tucked away near Burgess Falls. This farm to table restaurant is a breath of fresh air. It's located in the cutest barn and they offer a small store of local handmade goods. I ordered a cheeseburger, onion rings, and coleslaw. You can tell that the ingredients they use are of quality. The burger was flavorful and hit the spot. The onion rings although they were fried had a unique batter and wasn't greasy as all. They were some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The coleslaw was the star of the show though. It is by far the best coleslaw I've ever had. I would bathe in this coleslaw lol. I would literally go back just for the coleslaw alone. After all this food I wanted a sweet treat so I ordered a strawberry ice cream made with real strawberries. It was unlike any strawberry ice cream I've ever had. Most have an artificial taste this didn't at all. It was so creamy and delicious and was the best way to end a great meal. I will definitely be going back!
